Yaaay I'm back with more arts! So as mentioned before, a long time ago , Ferostell dragons like Aterlith have an extremely high body temperature and a heat resistant layer of scales, allowing them the unique ability to actually swim in molten lava. Little is known as to why they seem to enjoy bathing in lava so much; some say it's meant to rid the body of parasites or germs by incinerating them, while others say they simply do it to keep their scales smooth and shiny, like obsidian. Regardless of the reason, the only thing that's truly certain is that there's no place in the world Aterlith would rather be than _ironically chilling out in the cone of her volcanic home. 

Heed that title well though... a Ferostell is fierce enough, but they can be at their worst when you bother them while they're exfoliating~
