First Snow

It's been aaaaages since I've drawn something with this lovely lady! As the title implies, Verbati hasn't had a whole lot of experience with snow, as hiding out in the thicker parts of her much more tropical forest home has kept the big snow clumps from reaching her. After meeting up with the main group however, she takes to exploring different kinds of forest environments on her travels, and one such birch forest allows for her to experience a snow flurry for the first time. Character-wise, she's probably not too sure what to think of the snow overall, since it's much colder than anything she's experienced, and it makes camouflage a bit difficult. I'm sure she enjoys the quiet it brings though! :3

Verbati's main reason for not joining up with the gang more often is due to her species' skittish nature, causing her to be easily intimidated by things and seek shelter, to a degree even more so than Oigchaits, which will at least venture around their territories frequently. After meeting the main four and thus getting to know four different dragons from all walks of life, she begins to understand that nothing is out to get her (Dragons in this story view consuming other dragons as taboo, but Vularvinas being so sheltered, did not get the memo :'3), and decides that while the adventure the main for are on sounds a bit daunting, she can do her part by scouting ahead and exploring new forests and biomes while relaying the information back to the group once they come in. Toward the end of the story, Verbati sheds much of her old wariness and plays a big role in the climax.
