Marriland's Wedlocke: Apricot and Lettuce

So here are Apricot and Lettuce, two more members of ~Marriland's Wedlocke team. Of all of the pairings, this one is my favorite, as I have always loved drawing Butterfree and Furret.

In my interpretation, Apricot takes things like battling very seriously, and often ends up taking Lettuce for granted, even poking fun at him a bit and sarcastically commenting about how his appearance makes him look somewhat feminine. Lettuce on the other hand is deeply in love with Apricot and would do anything for her. Unbeknownst to Lettuce, however is that despite her serious and sassy demeanor, Apricot does reciprocate his feelings, but feels a bit awkward about putting those feelings out there.

EDIT: .... I can't believe it... I regret to inform that sadly, both Lettuce and Apricot passed away in episode 27. R.I.P. you guys, we will never forget your spunkyness and love toward each other to the end. You were everyone's favorite pair out of this run, and I'm happy at least knowing that you two may rest in peace together.
